While funding for basic public services remains stagnant, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars are routinely committed to fleets of luxury vehicles, structural redesigns of Washington D.C., and lavish vanity projects. A comprehensive CNN survey reveals a deep and widening fissure between the administration’s focus and the public’s urgent needs.
